This is the reflection of the tree lights in my balcony door. (The blur was done intentionally.) I really love Christmas lights and was absolutely giddy putting them up tonight! I even turned on the webcam so I could share it with Stuart! I am looking forward to decorating with ornaments over the week. My favorite thing to do is turn off all the lights except the tree and just sit on the sofa looking at the colors! ๐Ÿ™‚

Not the most artistic photo, but here is my Christmas tree in all its nakedness! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I went after work today, straight to the Home Depot and picked it up! Luckily, it was easy to bring upstairs and set up. Now, tomorrow I will be adding lights and then decorating for the rest of the week. I was giddy when I was paying for it! It already smells fantastic here in my apartment! ๐Ÿ™‚ I will post updates as they become available.

The past few weeks, I’ve been working in the mall at Macy’s giving out stuff for Clinique for the retail holiday season. Well, it’s the day after Thanksgiving, so it’s officially time to start putting out the Christmas decorations. I love coming home and hearing the sound of jingle bells as I come in! ๐Ÿ™‚ Tomorrow, I hope to have the tree up! I just need to get one after I work at Macy’s tomorrow. I just hope I survive all the crazy post-Thanksgiving shoppers!

I went over to my parents’ house today to celebrate Thanksgiving with them and my sister. The entire drive over, the wind was blowing the multi-colored leaves all over. Once I got to my parents’ the light filtering through the trees in the background was just beautiful! So I captured it for my first post on the new blog!

New beginnings..

I had been pretty diligent about keeping up my previous 365 blog, but a two month long trip to England kept me too busy to keep up with it and once I got home, it was back to work and I just never caught up…. So, here it is, 365 blog take two! I figured that Thanksgiving would be a great time to start over since it is traditionally a day to look back and reflect on everything you’re thankful for in the past year. So, I’m thankful for a good, busy, but happy year and looking forward to starting this next one by accomplishing a few goals I’ve had on the horizon for a while now. I hope you enjoy!
